On Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at approximately 11:25 a.m. James Hillhouse High School was put into lockdown, due to an incident in the vicinity of the school. As a further precaution, Dr. Mayo Early Learning Center was put into a modified lock down in which academic and school related activities took place, but no one permitted to enter or leave the school.
