It's Registration Time For Annual Shamrock Open Golf Tournament, Set For June 22

NEW HAVEN, CT — The Associated Irish Societies have announced details for the 2026 Shamrock Open Golf Tournament.

This year’s tournament is set for Monday, June 22, at The Alling Golf Club, 35 Eastern St., in New Haven.

The tournament features an 18-hole round with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Registration starts at 7:30 a.m.

There will be special awards for the men's and women's longest drive and also a “closest to the pin" contest on two holes.

A buffet dinner will follow the tournament at Anthony’s Ocean View, 450 Lighthouse Road.

For over 30 years, the Shamrock Open has been a major fundraiser for the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Connecticut’s largest free single-day spectator event, attracting thousands of people to the streets of New Haven each year.

The parade is a long-standing tradition in the New Haven community, and the members of the Greater New Haven St. Patrick's Day Parade committee volunteer to ensure the tradition continues.

The Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Associated Irish Societies is a 501(c)(3) organization.
