Jayminkumar Patel obituary: Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, East Haven

Jayminkumar Patel, 52 of New Haven passed away peacefully at home on February 1, 2026. He was born June 20, 1973 in India to Harishkumar Patel and Arunaben Patel. Jayminkumar is survived by his mother, loving wife, Mitalben (Amin) Patel and two children; Neel Patel and Heet Patel, both of New Haven. Jayminkumar is also survived by his brother, Komal Patel and his wife, Dipti Patel of MA along with two nephews; Shiv and Om Patel.

Jayminkumar was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all. He always placed others first, looking out for their best interests. He was a kind man, always wanting and willing to help, from working on cars to just being surrounded by his friend. Jayminkumar was a family man, he loved spending time with his immediate and extended families and made everyone always feel welcomed. Jayminkumar immigrated to the US in 2019 and became a US citizen in June of 2025.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday February 4, 2026 in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home, 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven from 9 to 10:30 AM. His funeral procession will then leave the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a 11 AM service in Evergreen Crematory, 769 Ella T. Grasso Blvd., New Haven CT.
