KeyBank Employees Roll Up Their Sleeves, Get To Work At Clifford Beers

NEW HAVEN, CT — For more than three decades, on its Neighbors Make the Difference Day, Key Bank employees have left the office, rolled up their collective sleeves, and volunteered for various local community organizations, projects and causes. In a single day, on June 7, more than 160 Connecticut-based KeyBank staffers completed around 640 hours of community service at non-profits.

In New Haven, employees did landscaping at the Clifford Beers/Farnum Neighborhood House and worked for Habitat for Humanity.

The bank's 31st annual company-wide Neighbors Make the Difference Day is a long-standing annual event that demonstrates KeyBank’s commitment to helping its neighbors and communities thrive.

Nationally, many of Key’s branches closed at noon to enable employees to complete more than 16,000 community service hours in a single day.

In Branford, employees did yard work and planting at the Soundview YMCA. In Madison, they did a cleanup at Hammonasset Beach State Park.
