L.L Bean Shop Expected to Create 60 Jobs in New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT — There's a reason why a big shoe was driving around New Haven Monday. L.L Bean announced it is opening a store in the Shops at Yale on Elm Street.

The retailer announced it will fill space at 272 Elm St., which will also have graduate apartments and other retailer suites, according to NBC Connecticut.

The store is expected to generate 60 jobs in the area, according to the New Haven Independent.
