Historic Sallys Apizza Sold

Two brothers will continue to manage the pizza shop, but it will be under new ownership.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Famed New Haven Sally's Apizza has been sold. Robert, Richard and Ruth Consiglio have run the restaurant since mother Florence passed away in 2012.

The three will continue to manage the restaurant, according to WTNH. The deal to sell closed Wednesday and the new owners haven't been revealed.

Bobby Consiglio said he and brother Rick will now be able to take vacations and go home at night without worrying as much about the business aspect of the restaurant, according to the Middletown Press. The goal is to keep the restaurant as it is without changes.
