Ticket Information
All tickets to performances in homes are offered at the Pay-It-Forward level of $125, enabling Long Wharf Theatre to bring this remarkable production to larger spaces across the region while supporting free and low-cost ticket prices for students. LWT Members get early access to purchase these very limited in-home performance tickets. Home venues seat between 12-18 guests and will sell out FAST!
Members may also purchase tickets to larger gathering space performances of The Year of Magical Thinking at the Member price of $39 (including fees). Regardless of where you see this production, you can expect a truly unique evening of theatre.
Non-Member tickets will go on sale Thursday, August 3, 2023.
About the Show
Adapted from the best-selling memoir of the same title, and conceived and directed by Jonathan Silverstein, The Year of Magical Thinking takes you on a remarkable journey through Didion's personal tale of loss, resilience, and the unbreakable power of the human spirit. First produced Off-Broadway by Keen Company in New York City and embodying Long Wharf Theatre’s new model, this unique production will be performed in homes and gathering spaces throughout New Haven with less than 500 tickets available over the three-week run!
