Man, 25, Dies From Gunshot Wound to the Head: New Haven Police

NEW HAVEN, CT - Police are investigating the death of a 25-year-old local resident, police said Friday afternoon.

At 1:17 PM, Police and Firefighter/ EMTs were dispatched to an unresponsive person in a vehicle on Huntington Street, west of Winchester Avenue, police said in a news release.

The person inside the running vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene. He suffered a gunshot wound to the head, police said.

The deceased has been identified as Tysean Johnson, 25, of New Haven, police said.
