Man, 44, Hit By Porsche SUV As Its Occupants Shot At Him: Police
Gunfire rang out on Ferry Street Tuesday afternoon, with the man targeted struck by a silver Porsche with the shooters inside, cops said.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Police went to the call of gunfire on Ferry Street early Tuesday afternoon and found no gunshot wound victim, police said.
What they did find after investigating, was a man who'd been hit by a silver Porsche SUV, whose occupants were firing at the 44-year-old New Haven man, according to police spokesperson Scott Shumway.
It was around 1:38 p.m. when police were alerted to a report of gunfire on Ferry Street, between Exchange and Pierpont streets. "The Porsche did not remain on scene," police said.

The victim was taken to the hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Shumway said.
The New Haven Police Major Crimes Unit are investigating.
