The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner ruled the cause and manner of her death as undetermined but "noted she had symptoms of acute intoxication due to the combined effects of fentanyl, cocaine and diphenhydramine," police said.

Following an investigation, police identified the vehicle used to transport Wilkes' body to the park and linked that vehicle to a resident of a New Haven motel.
