Man Killed While Playing Video Games in New Haven
The man was killed while in his home, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed while inside his home Thursday night.
The department's ShotSpotter system detected 10 shots fired on Greenwood Street at 10:18 p.m. Joshua Rivera, 28, was struck in the head by a bullet that went through a window, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
The shooter fired from outside.

"The shooter is a thin man (race undeterminable by the surveillance images we’ve obtained)," Hartman siad. "He was wearing an oversized black hooded sweatshirt and light colored thin denim jeans. He fled north on Greenwood toward George Street on foot."
Rivera was playing video games when the shooting happened, according to the New Haven Register.
