From American to Thai, Elm City diners enjoy some of the best restaurants in the state, as judged by readers and experts.
NEW HAVEN, CT —Connecticut Magazine’s Best Restaurants 2022: Readers' Choice and Experts' Picks winners include many eateries in New Haven.

One cannot peruse the list without seeing dozens of Elm City eateries named in nearly every category, with most of those nods from the “experts.”
From Best New American Zinc, to Best Thai, September in Bangkok, there’s nary a category where New Haven chefs aren’t delivering the best.

The Best French Statewide is Union League Café, readers (and diners) say.
Three eateries were awarded the title Best Overall Excellence, Olea, Shell & Bones and Tavern on State.
And among the Best New Restaurants in Connecticut is Villa Lulu.
The Most Romantic statewide winner is, yes, the Union League Cafe.
And, the Best Traditional American is also fan-favorite Archie Moore's Bar & Restaurant.
And Elm City Social serves the best brunch.
