Massive Explosive Stockpile Results in Arrest of New Haven Man: PD
Potentially hundreds of pounds of unsecured explosives were found in a home.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police arrested a city man after a massive amount of black powder and other explosives was found inside his home Thursday, according to police.
Police began investigating after a call regarding a routine domestic dispute, according to the New Haven Register. Officers found a large number of commercial-grade fireworks. Piles of explosives were found throughout the home unsecured.
The large amount of explosives could've leveled several nearby homes if something caused them to ignite, according to NBC Connecticut. Heat, friction or a shock could've ignited the stockpile. To sign up for New Haven breaking news alerts and more, click here.

Pasquale Criscio was arrested and charged with illegal manufacturing of explosives and bombs, illegal possession of explosives, illegal possession and storage of fireworks and risk of injury to a minor.
