Mayor, New Police Chief Hold Town Hall Meetings Starting Thursday
Elicker said among the topics is about Randy Cox & what the "city, NHPD are doing to make sure an incident like this never happens again."

NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven Mayor Justin Elicker and newly sworn New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson are holding "town halls on public safety."
The first is Thursday at 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Hill Regional Career High School.
According to Elicker, at the meeting, New Haveners will have the opportunity to meet the new chief, "hear more about our vision and plans to strengthen public safety," share thoughts, suggestions, and questions. And, he said, to "discuss the recent incident involving Mr. Richard 'Randy' Cox and the actions the City and NHPD are taking to ensure an incident like this never happens again."

Elicker said he encourages residents to attend and participate in one of these important discussions."
The July 26 community meeting, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., will be held at FAME, 255 Blatchley Ave.
