Michael Rosario Murderer Gets 45 Years In Prison: State's Attorney

NEW HAVEN, CT —New Haven State’s Attorney John P. Doyle, Jr. announced today that the Honorable Jon M. Alander sentenced Robert Parris, 56, of New Haven, to 45 years in prison for the December 2019 murder of Michael Rosario, 55, in New Haven.

In January, a jury in New Haven Superior Court found Parris guilty of murder, criminal possession of a firearm, and carrying a pistol without a permit.

According to evidence introduced at trial, on Sept. 19, 2019, Parris shot Rosario who died from his injuries the following day, Dolye said.
