NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after a double shooting Tuesday injured two people, according to The New Haven register. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when a gunman fired shots a group of people on Winthrop Avenue near Chapel Street, then fled the scene.
A 24-year-old man suffered an ankle wound and a 22-year-old man was shot in the torso. Both are expected to survive, The Register reported.
