New Haven Election 2017 Results: Unofficial Mayor, Probate Judge
Many results are in.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Incumbent Mayor Toni Harp handily won re-election with 77 percent of the vote, according to the New Haven Independent.
Petitioning candidate Marcus Paca who dropped out of the race but whose name appeared on the ballot had about 15 percent and Sarah Ganong had about 8 percent. Only two wards remain.

Applications must be postmarked or received by a voter registration agency by the 7th day before an election, which is Oct. 31. However, if you miss the deadline for registering for an election, Connecticut now offers same-day voter registration. You can register and vote in person on Election Day at your town's Election Day Registration location. Absentee Ballots
You can vote by absentee due to the following reasons:
- Illness or physical disability
- Absence from town during all election hours
- Religious beliefs forbidding secular activity on election day
- Serving as an election official at a polling place other than your own
- Active service in the Armed Forces
