New Haven Holding Memorial Day Ceremonies
The public is invited to attend both events this weekend.
NEW HAVEN, CT — The city of New Haven will be holding its Memorial Day ceremonies on Sunday, May 24, according to an announcement from the VFW.
At 1 p.m. there will be a ceremony at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Park on Long Wharf Drive. Col. Marc Castellucci of the Connecticut Army National Guard will be one of the speakers.
At 3 p.m. there will be a ceremony at the World War Memorial Flagpole on the New Haven Green. One of the speakers is Lt. Col. Dawn Works-Dennis (Ret.).
