Police responded to a call of a person shot at Poplar Street at 8:45 a.m. The victim was shot in the thigh. He was hospitalized with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, police said.Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the New Haven Police Department at 203-946-6304. Callers may remain anonymous.
