NEW HAVEN, CT — City man Edward Lugo, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon in U.S. District Court Thursday.
Lugo was found in possession of a 9mm Kel-Tec Model P-11 pistol and more than 100 rounds of assorted ammunition in September 2018, according to the U.S. Attorney District of Connecticut office.
Lugo has previous felony convictions in Connecticut and New York. He faces up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when sentenced. His sentencing is scheduled for June.
