New Haven Man Steals Liquor From Local Package Store: Milford PD

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is accused of stealing liquor from a package store in Milford, police said. On April 8, police took custody of Richard Smith, 34, of Eastern Street, in regard to an active arrest warrant, police said.

Smith is accused of taking about $180 worth of liquor from a Cherry Street package store on August 18, 2018 without paying, police said.

Smith is charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. His court date is May 7.
