New Haven Man Took $15K For Work He Never Did: Milford PD

The accused was charged on a warrant, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven man is accused of taking $15,000 for work that he never did, Milford Police said. On Dec. 7, police took custody of Matthew Martino, 46, of Beecher Place in New Haven in regard to an active arrest warrant, police said.

He is accused of taking about $15,000 from a client he was supposed to do contractor work for in August 2017 and never did the work, police said.

Martino is charged with second-degree larceny and given a court date of Jan. 2.
