New Haven Phys Ed Teacher 'Has Gone Above And Beyond'

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Tyler is a third year teacher who has gone above and beyond for his students. He has started a basketball program as his school K-8 did not have a program. He is both coach and father figure to many of his students.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

Ty is a teacher and carries over his love of teaching to students after school to enable them to have safe after school activities
