New Haven Pizza Delivery Driver Robbed: PD
Two people were arrested for the robbery, police said.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Two people were arrested after a pizza delivery man was robbed early June 19.
An Alpha Delta Pizza delivery driver was making a deliver on Foote Street when two men approached from Ashmun Street. One man continued walking on Ashmun and the other who was armed with a pistol ran at the driver as he hurried back to his car.
One suspect knocked food from the man's hand and ordered him across the street where the other man and a woman were standing. He was relieved of his cash.

The woman got behind the wheel of his Nissan and one of the men also got in the vehicle and left the scene, said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman. Police spotted the vehicle around 3 a.m. Monday and a pursuit started. It went on I-95 south toward Milford and eventually came back to New Haven via the Boston Post Road. The pursuit was terminated in the Fair Haven neighborhood.
The vehicle was spotted again and a pursuit took police into West Haven. The vehicle was found parked in a lot on First Avenue in West Haven. State Police and West Haven police flooded the area searching for the armed pair, Hartman said.

Sonya Bracy, 37, of New Haven was apprehended with the Nissan's keys. Amar Ju Walton, 26, of West Haven was also arrested, Hartman said. Bracy has a history of theft arrests and Walton has six robbery convictions, three of which are in the first degree.
Bracy was charged with second-degree larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny and conspiracy to commit robbery. Walton was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree larceny, conspiracy and interfering with police.
