Another message apparently posted by the same social media manager was posted on the restaurant's Instagram page apologizing for the personal views being expressed on the business page, according to the New Haven Register.

Da Legna posted a subsequent message apologizing for the debacle.

"As we grapple with what feels like an unending string of national tragedies, we understand difficult dialogue is necessary to address violence within American, and encourage their open discussion," the post said. "However, we do not feel it is appropriate to use our business' social media as a platform to comment on these issues..."
