New Haven Police Investigate Saturday Daytime Shooting
A 42-year-old New Haven man was shot and then "dropped off" at Yale New Haven Hospital, a police spokesperson said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A midday shooting Saturday left a 42-year-old man hospitalized with gunshot wounds, police said.
Police got a call around 2:30 in the afternoon that the man had been dropped off at Yale New Haven Hospital by an unknown car, according to New Haven police spokesperson Scott Shumway.
The man was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries, Shumway said Sunday.

Detectives from the Major Crimes Unit responded and are leading the investigation.
