New Haven Police Investigate Sunday Dixwell Shooting Of Hamden Man
The 37-year-old man shot on Webster Street in the Dixwell neighborhood at around 11:30 a.m. Sunday is in stable condition, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 37-year-old Hamden man was shot in New Haven Sunday morning, police said.
Around 11:30 a.m., police were called to a shooting on Webster Street, between Dixwell Avenue and John Daniels Place, spokesperson Scott Shumway said.
The man was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries and listed in stable condition, Shumway said.

The Bureau of Identification collected ballistic evidence and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are leading the investigation.
