NEW HAVEN, CT—Police are investigating a case of vandalism at the Wilbur Cross High School Athletic Complex that involves spray-painted messages with references to Donald Trump and swastikas.
The complex was secured around noon Saturday Nov. 19 and the vandalism was noticed 48 hours later when staff went in to retrieve equipment.
"In this case, there wasn’t a sole person or group that was targeted. The NHPD, therefore considers our community the victim in this crime," said Officer David Hartman, police spokesman.
