NEW HAVEN, CT —New Haven Public Schools will host its annual Back to School Rally for students and families on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bowen Field, adjacent to James Hillhouse High School.

The event promotes school attendance and reading. It features entertainment, arts and crafts, games, and community resource tables. Children will receive free backpacks, books, and school materials while supplies last.

The rally is organized by the New Haven Public Schools Office of Youth, Family, and Community Engagement. For information, call 475-220-1734.
