NEW HAVEN, CT — A school nurse and a part-time custodian in the New Haven school district have tested positive for COVID-19, The New Haven Register reported. The first ten weeks of school will be held virtually and school does not start until Sept. 3, but employees were contractually obligated to begin work Wednesday.

The employees who tested positive were sent home per protocols. An administrator and two custodians who had contact with those who tested positive were also sent home to quarantine, according to The Register.
