New Haven School Official's Home Struck By Bullets: Report

A top school official's home was hit by gunfire Friday night.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating after the home of a top school official was struck several times by gunfire Friday night, according to The New Haven Register. Bullets struck an office, a bedroom, and a living room at the Beaver Hills home of Assistant Superintendent of Schools Paul Whyte.

One neighbor said she heard as many as six shots, according to The New Haven Register. Whyte's wife and mother-in-law were home during the shooting at about 7:30 p.m. No injures were reported.
