Update: One Dead In New Haven Shooting

NEW HAVEN, CT — City police are investigating a reported fatal shooting in which "multiple" individuals have been shot, according to a Facebook alert by the New Haven Police Department.

WTNH Channel 8 is reporting that one 26-year-old male victim, identified as Michael Judkins, was shot and killed while another 20-year-old victim was injured.

Police said the situation was being reported on Thompson Street. The initial Facebook report was at about 2 p.m.

Authorities said the road was closed between Newhall Street and Shelton Avenue.
