New Haven Teen Arrested After Car Chase: PD
The teen fled troopers and crashed into a cruiser, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A city teen was arrested after he fled from troopers during a car chase Sept. 27, according to police.
New Haven Police told State Police that they were on the lookout for an Audi A4 on I-91 southbound that was a suspect vehicle in armed robberies and likely had a firearm inside it. Troopers spotted the vehicle in the area of Sargent Drive and I-95 and attempted ot pull it over.
A police cruiser was struck during the chase on Blatchley Avenue and the driver was taken into custody.

Taezhan Brewer, 18, was charged with reckless driving, disobeying the signal of an officer, interfering with police and first-degree reckless endangerment. He was held in lieu of $50,000 bail. He also had an active warrant for robbery out of Hamden.
