New Haven Teen - Employee - Accused Of Shoplifting: Milford PD

MILFORD, CT — A New Haven teen is accused of committing an employee theft while working in Milford, police said. On Jan. 14, police took custody of Carmelo Garcia, 18, of Asylum Street in New Haven in regard to an active arrest warrant, police said.

Garcia is accused of attempting to take $290 worth of merchandise from Boscov's, 1201 Boston Post Road on Dec. 2, 2018, while an employee at the store.

He is charged with sixth-degree larceny.
