New Haven Woman, 33, Charged In Connection With May Stabbing: NHPD

NEW HAVEN, CT — In late May, police responded to a report of a stabbing on Grafton Street. When cops got there, they found a 44-year-old New Haven man suffering from a stab wound to his abdomen outside his residence, police said. He was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where his injuries were determined to be non-life-threatening, police said.
"Officers located a blood trail going to his apartment, but no suspects were located inside," police said.
The case was assigned to Detective Brandon Way of the Major Crimes Unit who developed probable cause to arrest Tiffany Williams, police said.

The 33-year-old woman from New Haven, was charged with first-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace, and held on $250,000 bail, police said.
