New Haven Woman, 38, Shot, Investigators Looking For Witnesses: Police
Late last Friday night, shots rang out on Ferry Street, between Peck and Lombard. When cops got there, they found a woman struck by gunfire.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Last Friday night, shots rang out on Ferry Street, between Peck and Lombard streets. New Haven officers, responding to the area after getting a call that a person had been shot, found a 38-year-old New Haven woman struck by gunfire, according to police.
Taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police spokesperson Scott Shumway said.
The Bureau of Identification collected ballistic evidence, he said, and detectives from the Major Crimes Unit are investigating the shooting.
