New Haven Woman, 42, Killed In Q Bridge Crash: State Police
Police said Yolanda Ecton lost control of her car on I-95 south, first striking the median concrete barrier then the right shoulder barrier.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Yolanda Ecton, 42, of New Haven, was pronounced dead after a crash on the Q Bridge Sunday night, according to a state police report.
A passenger in her vehicle suffered non-life threatening but serious injuries, the accident report reads.
Ecton's 2014 Infiniti was traveling southbound on Interstate 91 on the bridge at around 6 p.m. just before "entrance 50" when she lost control of the car, the report reads. The car "collided" with the concrete traffic barrier in the median and then "collided" with the concrete traffic barrier in the right shoulder.

Ecton suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to state police.
A passenger in her car was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of "suspected serious" but non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
