New Haven Woman Wins $75k Lotto Prize

NEW HAVEN, CT — City woman Elisabeth Sparano won the "Super $75,000 Cash Giveaway" prize when she bought tickets before the snow storm.

CT Lottery players got a free drawing for the game with any purchase of another lottery draw game.

The drawing was held on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 and Sparano’s winning drawing entry number, 357486, was selected.

“I’m very excited about this win! I’ve never won a prize like this before!” Sparano said. The $75,000 Cash Giveaway prize comes at a needed time for the lucky winner. Sparano looks to use her newfound winnings to fix damages to her house caused by the recent blizzard. “I am not lucky—I never win!”

Sparano always plays at Super Stop & Shop #696 located on 460 Elm Street in West Haven. For selling the winning ticket, they will receive a $750 bonus check from the CT Lottery.
