New Year's Twins Born In New Haven Have Different Birthdays
A baby boy named Seven was Yale New Haven Hospital's last baby of 2023, and twin sister Souli was its first of 2024.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A Hamden family grew by two as the ball was dropping this year, welcoming one twin in the final moments of 2023 and the other in the first moments of 2024.
Aliyah Kiyomi Morris and her partner Mykel said hello to their new baby boy, Seven Morris, at 11:59 p.m. Dec. 31. Seven's twin sister, Souli, was both just minutes later, at 12:02 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Seven was Yale New Haven Hospital's last baby of 2023, and Souli was its first of 2024. They each weigh six pounds, nine ounces.

Both parents and twins are "doing great and getting some well-deserved rest," Yale New Haven Hospital said in a news release.
