Obirtuary: Alberta E. Leo (Porto Funeral Homes)

Alberta E. Schettino Leo, 79, of Norwich, wife of Kenneth Leo, passed away on July 27, 2026 surrounded by her family at William W. Backus Hospital. Mother of Jennifer (Samuel) Peckham and Cindy (Thomas Kulic) Leo. Grandmother of Morgan Kulic. Sister of Teresa (Robert) D’Onofrio and the late Anthony Schettino. Sister-in-law of Marietta (Walter) Tucker, Elizabeth Lockwood, MaryJane Schettino and the late Christina Frumeri. Alberta was born in New Haven on September 2, 1946 daughter of the late Ralph and Carmel Parillo Schettino. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and dear friends. Alberta graduated from Wilbur Cross High School in 1964 and enjoyed bowling in her leisure time. Prior to her retirement, Alberta served as secretary at St. Joseph School in Norwich, CT as part of her work with the Archdiocese of Norwich.

Family and friends are invited to A Mass of Christian Burial at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church on SATURDAY morning, August 8, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private.
