Obituary: Anthony J. DelMonico, 80, of New Haven
His family is grateful to his nephew Raymond for spending time with him daily, helping with his care and needs for the last few years.

Anthony J. DelMonico, 80, of New Haven passed away January 14, 2023 in CT Hospice. Born on November 16,1942 to the late Michael and Angelina Mariconde DelMonico. Anthony leaves his wife, Barbara DelMonico, of West Haven, children; Jennifer DelMonico of West Haven, Jason (Marisa) DelMonico of Seymour and Salvatore DelMonico of East Haven. His 3 grandchildren, Giuliana & Leonardo DelMonico and Steven Ferency IV. He also leaves his brother John DelMonico of Branford, nieces Angelina DelMonico, Ruby Caruso and Jean Dagliere and nephews Michael DelMonico and Raymond Gauthier as well as several great nieces & nephews and cousins. Anthony was predeceased in life by his son Anthony DelMonico, his brother Michael DelMonico, nephew John DelMonico Jr, great nephew Peter Gaudioso, Jr, cousin and best friend Rocco "Rocky" Bellonio, and childhood best friends Dominic Abate and Bobby Whalen who were like family to him.
The family would like to express their gratitude to his nephew Raymond for spending time with him every day and helping with anything he may have needed the last few years and assisting with his care, especially over the last 9 months. We are truly grateful to you!!

Family and friends may call at the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd., (Rte 80) East Haven FRIDAY MORNING from 9:00-11:00 and are also invited to a Graveside Service in St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven at 11:30.
