Obituary: Gloria Jean Hannans, 70, Of New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT — Gloria Jean Hannans, at the age of 70 of New Haven, was a caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She entered into eternal life on August 2nd 2022. Born on June 26,1952 in Folkston, GA. She was the daughter of the late Gloria Belton Hannans and Curtis Hannans Sr.

“Glory” as she was affectionately known as by her family, had a passion of helping people in the healthcare field for many years before retiring. Cherished mother of James Hannans, Korey Hannans, and Marcus Hannans. Also survived by two grandchildren Markus Hannans and Laziya Hannans. Beloved sister of Marinda Hannans, Curtis Hannans Jr., and Carl Hannans. A host of nieces and nephews. Predeceased son Eric Lowery and two sisters Thelma Hannans and Sandra Beall.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 12, 2022 at 10:00-11:00 AM. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 AM at Beulah Heights First Pentecostal Church, 782 Orchard St., New Haven, CT.
