Obituary: Irene M. Colatosti Albino, 94, of New Haven
A great-grandmother, Irene was born in New Haven in 1928, and worked at S.N.E.T. as a clerk for years before retiring.
Irene M. Colatosti Albino 94, of New Haven beloved wife of the late Frank Albino passed away on January 2, 2023 at the Guilford House. Loving mother of Mark (Deidre) Albino of Sanibel Island, FL; Roberta (Joseph) Baum of North Branford; Marguerite (Robert) Amendola of Hamden and Robert (Deborah) Albino of Northford. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Irene was predeceased by her sisters Mary Rockwell, Patricia DiCicco and Rosalie Grillo.
Irene was born in New Haven on August 8, 1928 daughter of the late Severino and Elizabeth Pizzitola Colatosti. Prior to her retirement, Irene was a clerk for S.N.E.T.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80) East Haven MONDAY morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends may call SUNDAY from 4pm to 7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
