Obituary: John A. Lucarelli, 95, of New Haven formerly of Branford
Grandfather of 12, great-grandfather of 24, he was a WWII Navy veteran who for many years worked for the International Silver Company.

John A. Lucarelli, 95, of New Haven formerly of Branford beloved husband of the late Iva Massey Lucarelli passed away peacefully February 1, 2022 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Beloved father of Robert J. (Ann) Lucarelli and Kathleen (Pat) Vissicchio all of East Haven, John A. (Susan) Lucarelli of Florida, Sharon (Steven) Parsons and Mary Jane (Edward) Steinle all of South Carolina, Gerry (Kenneth Mele of Wallingford, Joseph P. Lucarelli of New Haven. Father-in-law of Robin Lucarelli. Brother of the late Josephine Colson, Clara Bernard, Phillip and Vincent Lucarelli. Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Predeceased by a grandson John Lucarelli. John was born in Branford on March 4, 1926 a son of the late Gennaro “Jerry” and Sarah Serafini Lucarelli.
Prior to his retirement John worked for International Silver Company for many years. He was a WWII Navy veteran.

Family and friends are invited to a Graveside Service with military honors Saturday morning at 10:00 in St. Agnes Cemetery in Branford.
