Born in New Haven in 1937, she moved to Arlington, Virginia in 1960 where she was married and began raising her family.

On Wednesday, July 15th, 2020, Judith Ann Applegate McMillan, age 83, went to be with the Lord.
Born May 28th, 1937 to Emily and Ervin Applegate in New Haven, Connecticut, moved to Arlington, Virginia in 1960 where she was married and began raising her family. In 2000, she retired and moved to Melbourne, Florida.

She was preceded in death by daughter Kelly Ann McMillan (1975), husband John English McMillan Jr. (2000) and grandson James Edward McMillan Jr. (2006).
Surviving are sons: John E. McMillan III, James E. McMillan Sr. and Kristopher M. McMillan, grandson Mark McMillan, granddaughters Shawnna Pervis and Cindy Carles, great grandsons Shawn, Xander, Logan, and great granddaughters Brianna and Fallon.

Sister Joyce Reis El Bara, and niece Debbie Plotkin, nephew Timothy Reis El Bara, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
A small family service will be held at Pixley Funeral Home Rochester, Michigan on Saturday July 25th and Interment will be at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Va. (date tbd)
