Obituary: Kathleen Connolly, 91, of New Haven

Kathleen Connolly, 91, of New Haven CT, entered into eternal rest on June 4, 2022 at CT Hospice.
She was born in Leitir Móir na Coille, Co. Galway Ireland on February 22, 1931, to the late Martin and Mary Conneely. She is survived by a sister, Anne Hussey of Rustburg, VA and a brother Padraig Conneely of Leitir Móir na Coille, Co Galway Ireland and many nieces and nephews. Kathleen was predeceased by three other sisters Nora Fallon, Bridget Conneely and Bab Walsh and two brothers Peadar Conneely and Stephen Conneely

Kathleen was a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians in New York City and loved to march in the St. Patrick’s Day parade each year. When Kathleen was not working as a housekeeper/nanny for many families over the years, she would travel back to her home in Ireland to enjoy spending time with her family.

Calling hours will be at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home 425 Main St. East Haven, CT on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 5pm-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 9am at St. Vincent DePaul Church, 80 Taylor Avenue, East Haven CT. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Roslindale, MA.
