Thomas J. Ehrler of New Haven passed away comfortably and peacefully surrounded by his wife and children on Thursday July 21, 2022 at Yale New Haven Hospital. He was the beloved husband of 25 years to Charlotte Giannotti Ehrler, and the father of Thomas Ehrler (fiancé Amanda White) and Cara Pascarella Cummings (husband Todd Cummings). He was the brother of William and Patricia Ehrler and predeceased by his brothers Patrick and Walter Ehrler. He also leaves his many beloved nieces and nephews who adored him. Tommy was born in New Haven on July 29, 1956, the son of the late Walter and Jane McGuire Ehrler.

He was a Logistics Manager for Eder Brothers in West Haven for 40 years, and happily retired in 2020. Tommy was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Giants and loved watching the games with his son Tom. He enjoyed going to the casino with his wife Charlotte and attending Country Music concerts. Tommy was a self-proclaimed “foodie” and enjoyed cooking for and celebrating all holidays with his family.
