Obituary: Vincent "Vinny" Vecchio, 79, of New Haven

Vincent "Vinny" Vecchio, 79 passed away peacefully on Tuesday December 13, 2022 after a long illness. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut January 7th 1943.

He leaves behind his loving soulmate Marjorie Cancel, his two sons Vincent and Ronald Vecchio and two daughters Tiffany and Alana Cancel, along with grandchildren Alexandra Vecchio, Elizabeth Vecchio , Nicholas Vecchio , Edward Vecchio , Giana Menillo Michael Vecchio and Joseph Manco Jr., siblings Robert Vecchio, Donald Vecchio, Gail Sanchez and Angela Ghering.

Vincent was pre deceased by his loving son Anthony Vecchio, his father Pasquale Vecchio and mother Mary Mellilo Vecchio and brother Alan Vecchio.

Vincent was a social butterfly who loved fishing, playing cards, painting, traveling, singing and most of all spending time with his family.

Vinny's family will receive visitors on MONDAY December 19, 2022 at Shoreline Cremation 425 Main St. East Haven CT from 5pm-7pm. In lieu of flowers, it would be greatly appreciated if you sent your love.
