Obituary: William “Bill” Miller, 83, of New Haven

William “Bill” Miller 83, of New Haven loving husband of Linda Miller passed away peacefully on May 2, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer which he fought until the very end. Bill was born in New Haven on October 27, 1938 to the late William and Norma Miller. Bill graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. He was a proud Veteran of the US Air Force. After his faithful and dedicated service to the country, he went on to become a contractor which brought him all over the world.

Bill’s family meant the world to him, he loved them more than anything, especially his grandchildren who were the light of his life. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for them. He loved to travel and he loved all animals especially his cat Lovey Dovey. Bill had a personality that would light up a room. He was a loving, kind and gracious man.

Besides his loving wife Linda, he is survived by his Son William (Gayelynn) Miller of Wolcott, “daughter” Kristen Pullman, Granddaughter Kayla Miller (Matthew Fortezzo), Brother- in- law Paul (Liz) Korik of Wallingford, Sister- in - law Diane Brecciaroli of Branford, Great Grandchildren Hazel Grace and Hudson James Fortezzo, Nieces and Nephews Jamie, Hollie, Jordyn, Jacob and Marc Brecciaroli, Alexandra and Aaron Korik. Also, his fishing buddy and friend Max Acosta and his Linked Solutions Family, where he worked until his illness.

A Service for Bill will be held at 11am on FRIDAY May 6, 2022 at East Haven Memorial Funeral Home 425 Main St East Haven, CT. Family and friends may call prior to the service from 9:30am- 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery.
