Person Crashes Fence At Tweed Airport

The person crashed through a fence before leaving the airport property.

NEW HAVEN, CT — A person of interest crashed through fencing at Tweed New Haven Airport while being pursued by city police.

Police were pursuing a person of interest who was returning a rental car around 11:30 a.m., according to NBC Connecticut. The driver crashed through the fence and eventually got off the airport property.
